About Raffles Istanbul
Opened September 1, 2014, Raffles Istanbul is a 27-floor, 134-meter modern tower designed by Emre Arolat & Tabanlıoğlu Architects, housed within the mixed-use Zorlu Center complex. It has 185 accommodation units (136 rooms + 49 luxury suites); its lobby holds over 200 custom-commissioned contemporary artworks, including a 16x5-meter bronze Lavinia sculpture.
The hotel connects to Gayrettepe Metro Station (M2) and the Zincirlikuyu Metrobüs via a climate-controlled underground pedestrian corridor — 0 minutes outdoor walking — giving direct access to Taksim, Levent and Maslak. It has a heated rooftop heliport.
Zorlu Center sits at the intersection of the Bosphorus Bridge approach roads and the Büyükdere Caddesi financial corridor, so traffic is heavy 08:00-10:00 and 17:30-19:30 — the direct metro connection is recommended during these hours.
