About Belek
Belek is a purpose-built golf and resort corridor in the Serik district, close to the airport, laid out through a coastal pine forest between the D400 and the sea. It is Turkey's golf capital: championship courses including Carya, Montgomerie and the National sit alongside The Land of Legends theme park. Accommodation is almost entirely large five-star all-inclusive resorts, luxury villas and spa estates — there is no traditional town centre or historic quarter. The district is built for golf tourists, families and premium package holidaymakers who stay largely within a single self-contained resort. Belek differs from Side, which has a walkable ancient old town, and from Kemer, where the Taurus mountains drop into pebble coves.
